• Paint my sky a thousand different colors,
Splatter the spectrum across this canvas,
    Give me a show,
A silent show in the sky,
    No words,
    No sound,
Just a beautiful palate of colors in a world with a lack thereof.
Let me wake up to find the sky a warm orange and yellow,
A comforting promise of the coming day,
Wrapping it's tendrils about my frame and warming me to the core.
And let those colors turn to vibrant baby blues,
Laced with clouds of pure white innocence,
And let me lay under them on the lush green carpeted earth,
As I shut my eyes for what seems to be mere minutes,
And let myself fade into a subexistence among the flowers and leaves,
Only to be resurfaced by the last light of the day dancing across my skin,
The same colors that greeted me into this day seeing me out of it,
    And into the dusk,
As I find my way home hand in hand with the cool crisp breeze of nighfall,
The stars glittering in the most perfect way above me,
    With the moon center stage,
Offering nothing to me but promises of tomorrow,
That there will again exist a day as perfect as this,
In a matter of short hours.
