When the sky gets this way,
Phantom grey with a hint of sorrow
Raining down upon my day
It never seems to get much clearer
These constant lies that I've been fed,
Spoken by the tongue of an habitual liar
I'm tired of the slips and subterfuge
I can't stay here, forever a crier
I'll run, far away
The Phantom's fog will hide your face
My only love in this horrid place
Tear it from me, there must be a way
I'll run, far from your words
I don't want to hear your warm-hearted voice
The contradictions pierce my heart
The tears come flowing, I won't let them start
It'd be best if we stayed apart.

- Title: "Letter On A Rainy Day"

Description:
This was written while it was raining.
This isn't a poem, well it is a little. It's actually raw emotion mixed with a letter to make... A poem that has no rhythm in some places.
Enjoy. - Date: 05/28/2010
