You, the enemy that haunts me in my nightmares.
I am the victim, who struggles desperately.
Night after night I bravely endured the pain
deep in my heart almost shattered.
But now returns to my wounded soul,
to avenge the body
and to enslave you for all eternity.

This is what I wrote.
A lonely soul
plagued by seemingly endless grief.
On that terrible thoughts of the past
may never again fall upon me. - Date: 05/16/2010

@Idiosynacratic Quirk
This is not a bad idea but with the enemy rather I meant something else. This poem I wrote at a time when my mother and my father often argued, and I was so sad often. The so-called enemy is in this case, the sadness, and fear that they would separate. I wrote this poem to my helplessness and hopelessness to express. It may sound a bit silly, but this time I simply saw no other way to process those feelings differently. - Report As Spam

- I could imagine this being said toward the end of a battle during a soliloquy to the dying adversary - as in the final words he would hear before the final blow.
