I awoke to the scent of death
Stifling, Encompassing
Blood flowing from open wounds
Proliferating, Diverging
Tainted innocence, Transcendence lost
Denouement, Oblivion
A decimation of purity, essence
Cataclysmic, Vindictive
Torn apart
Devastated, Shattered
Not a tear
Lachrymose, Deleterious
From these eyes
Desolate, Despondent
Not a word
Perplexed, Voiceless
From these lips
Silenced, Forsaken
For who would weep
At their loss of life?
Who would speak
At their own funeral?
