Scarf with Hues of Blue
Every afternoon I sit on the cold and hard concrete
I sit and search inside my soul, my life feels incomplete
I beat off all the sorrow with the wind brushing through my hair
I ponder of tomorrow, hoping for it to be only fair
I watch as all the cars go by and wonder if their lives are any better
This stigma that lives in my heart, like an everlasting sweater
And even though it is sunny out, inside my heart it rains
It pours inside my beating heart and clogs it with dull stains
To which then it starts bleeding out and makes my body quiver
Forcing the sunlight to instead feel cold and make me cry and shiver
Yearning for the warmth i hear so much about and never really knew
I reach out to the sky above, in search of freedom in the blue

- Description: Happened to write this one during lunch time. Started feeling a bit down and decided to try and decipher why. This poem was what came from that. Enjoy!

I think poetry is an amazing cure for a hazy head, and sometimes it makes a work of art like you did here.
