Suppose you never raised your voice?
It would be silent still and you'd be alone.
Except for the 'Busy' tone on the telephone.
Suppose you never had a single choice?
Blinded and bound till you were half dead,
Listening to every little thing he said,
It would break your heart,
It broke your heart.
Suppose you never wanted to let go?
Clinging on to a love that lay in tears,
Whilst your dreams were full of fears.
Suppose you never ever gave up hope?
Praying for the day that he would change,
Never had I ever seen a love so strange.
It would break your heart,
It broke your heart.
Now it's going to get better, better better,
For you're stronger now, more than ever,
Suppose you never made up your mind?
That it was now that had to be the time.
You raised your voice,
You made your choice,
You let go,
You gave up hope.
And so it goes.

Description:
A story about someone I know who wouldn't let go of a hopeless relationship. But now she has and everything is better.
Good luck to her in the future.
