    i enjoy smugly lecturing about the obvious..
    i relish being misunderstood..

    .. because being misunderstood is interesting ..
    there is no higher purpose than to be interesting..

    .. and if someone claims to understand me ..
    I pull farther away in order to remain inscrutable,.

    ..Real misery is different than sadness ..
    .. Sadness, like all emotions, is something that enhances life ..
    .. but in misery one finds nothing of interest ..

    Real misery is being understood ..
    I enjoy sadness ..

    that's not said to sound fashionably melancholic..
    .. or generally gothic ..

    i get a contact high off the quiet ..
    reflective terror that most find sickening..
    structurally awful but that's all of me ..
