All I ever wanted was someone to love
Nothing more and nothing less
I don't want anymore gifts, dear sir or madam
Nor such an amount of money to spend
I have the life I chose to create
And the air I could possibly breathe
Food and drink, it's all here
And I have a home over my head to rest
I don't want the truth, nor do I want the lies
The matter of it is, I assure you,
is that I only want someone
But this is all you seek?
All I ever dreamt of, my friends
Riches and items galore, no!
I have all I could ever hope for
But only one thing I really need
Keep the stuff, I do challenge you
Take it while you still can
Because all I really need, dear friends
Is someone for me to love
