You're my sweet little angel
Lost in this cruel world
I wish I could help you
But I can't reach you
I wish I could hold you
But I can't touch you
God took me from you
God took you from me
Oh what did I do
To deserve this agony
I see when you
Get your bruises and scars
But I'm trapped behind
These invisible bars
I scream and shout
I desperately try
But my energy fades
As time goes by
And though my energy fades
My love remains the same
Even though I can't help you
In this twisted game

- Description: A poem I wrote about a mother who died and her daughter's life turned into a living hell since then. And they say spirits can't pass on until they're content. So she's forced to watch without being able to help. I actually got the idea when I was listening to Fallen Angel by L'ame Immortelle.

- its not a bad concept, but allow me to give you some constructive criticism; don't spell it out. Thats what separates the poetry people study for years afterward from the kind everybody writes; tell it through the mood and the images you create in the minds, through the sound and rhythm, don't just tell it, SHOW it instead.
