All the memories from my horrible past
Are fading away really quite fast
With you by my side, I'm raising my pride
Slowly, carefully maybe one day
Confident i'll truly be
You see, you make my heart flutter
And my words come out in a stutter
A smile on my face, I close my eyes and pace.
Thinking happily 'could I have really found my place?'
Not a tear is anymore shed, as the fear I once had,
Fled away
Its hopes shattered and sad
Maybe this world isn't quite so bad.
