eating away at my soul
the blade in my hand
warns me yet
persuades me
as I run the
cold sharp metal
across my wrist
sudden colors
come into sight
I see my life
flash before my
eyes and
realize all the
pain and sorrow
made me cut to
deep now
with my
blood
I say
Goodbye
to the world
in my
ignored voice....

- It sounds like you are trying to much to be "emo" or... I don't know... Can't figure out the word.. It's just another one of those, suicidal maniac poems. I agree with calamito.. Forced deepness that makes it sound like every other teen angst poem.

- This just sounds like a boring emo poem to me. Where's the meaning? Why am I reading it? What was the reason for writing it? Ask yourself these questions. It sounds forced to me, like you were trying to sound "deep".
