The Day My Uncle No Longer Was
I felt a foreign grip on my throat.
I did not recognize the moods
But It had once been a fancy coat.
A coat used to armor and shield my wounds.
But today they were no longer lies
They became my thunder reality.
Where my world flooded with spies
Each took part of my widowed insanity.
I learned this pain was sorrow
A luxurious emotion that always is and always was
An emotion that became my most sacred silence
It picked me that day my uncle no longer was
