I don't think I could have been happier
Even though now it's a reck

But I'm so glad that I once loved you
Even if you have regret

I learned so much and I smiled to much
To hate every thing that we did

And I loved you much more then anyone else
Even if I never felt your touch

So now there's a new twist to this silly game called life
And I'm honestly thrilled and I pray that it works

I'm sure she'll be happy just as we were
And I'm sure she'll be thrilled by your touch

But if ever you need me, you know the way
And I"ll help you no matter the time of day

So tell me your troubles, if you ever need me
And I'll hold your hand if need be
