My deepest sorrow has been realized;
A tear has befallen your face
For your sweet and pleasant papa
Has died.
I will stand here with you
I will hold you and comfort you
I will make you joyful while your loved one cannot.
My one regret is that I could not
Meet the man who has given you so much joy
And receive his blessing.
Life is in fact too short and too precious,
Not only to the one living
But to those he knows as well.
This I now know to be fact for although he spent
Much time on this earth he fell too young
And now, it is no journey of sorrow that he goes through
No I say! He goes up, up, upward!
To a better, more beautiful place.
Although in truth, he will find it is no paradise
Not without his sweet young Courtney to show him
His favorite of smiles.
He will look however
Down upon you from his seat in heaven
And wish all the luck and fortunes upon you
For although he is no longer here to let you know
He loves you more and more each passing day.

Deep, swift, and emotional.
The only line that struck me as sharp was the one containing your fiance's name. It's wonderful for personal readings, but the audience does not know her. - Report As Spam
