The waters are parting on left and on right
A million miles wide, but still so tight.
They are pure and untouched,
With waves so strong until they’re crushed.
Until they are poisoned with pollution,
Like someone giving a girl a hallucinogen.
Innocent, yes, until she is laced
And falls so quickly from that grace.
Then that water, it turns from blue
To a still and silent, bloody red hue.
And all is tainted in this lie
Like a car wreck in a lullaby.
