Who is this man?
that needs so many peaches
he drags an empty cart,
save for the peaches.
Who is this fuzzy peach man?
that needs so many peaches
he picks an apple, puts it back
and grabs another peach.
I wonder what he thinks of me
standing near the peaches
my hair all messed and sloppy
clipboard in my hand
I wonder what he thinks of me
notating his every move
Jack Skellington smiling up at him
My blackened eyes stalking him
Who is this man?
with fruit that smells of
morning dew
heading towards the check out counter
Who is this fuzzy peach man?
in Wal-Mart on a windy day
dragging twenty peaches
on a dreadful, windy day.

Description:
For my English class I had to go into a grocery store and write a poem about somebody in the store, so I wandered around the isles until I saw this guy. He had a cart, a full cart with about twenty to forty peaches in it and nothing else. He wandered about the fruit section for a while before going to check out and buying all his peaches. Weirdest experience I've ever had in Wal-Mart
