And he plunged the icy,silver dagger into her heart of gold.Cry she did and scream and thrash to no avail.The crimson liquid of her life spurted over his murderous fingers.Then,with a final shudder, the veil of death was on her.Her carmel-toffee skin smeared vermillion,glittering in the light of the candle.With a single gust of wind the candel went out and so she followed the stream of smoke to heaven.
I could tell she was happy,in that momment to be free of the pain.For a single momment after,i was happy for her too.Then realization dawned on me and i fell to my knees in prayer to anyone who would listen.Endings are never happy,that ive come to know.
